

I guess that’s my biggest issue; it didn’t show any new perspective. It was very predictable and didn’t tell a new story, at least for me coming into it as a seasoned PC gamer. “Middle eastern imperialism is bad” doesn’t really hold up when compared to a game like Deus Ex that predated it by years.
I can see how it would have been great for a console gamer in that era, but it’s drastically overhyped and doesn’t compare one iota to the other games listed in the original comment. It’s a C tier game. Go back and play it today, very little holds up.
I do you think you check it out and form your own opinion. The good news is that the game is straightforward and fairly short. It’s a one weekend game if you no-life it.
I didn’t think the game was terrible, but it was massively overhyped IMO.
