These are horrible scifi-looking perspex doors which shut you into the checkout area if they think you’re trying to skip paying. You can pull them apart with your hands with a bit of motor resistance but an alarm goes off.

There’s security guards but nobody’s stopped me going through the gate yet (when it’s closed on me)
