My left stick started to drift, and I might as well get hall effect sticks as replacement

    I’ve fixed stick drift on a lot my personal controllers just by spraying some plastic-safe electric cleaner spray in around the drifting stick.

    well, turns out, it was even easier. a single NES-cartridge-sty blow into the stick-well removed whatever piece of dust was in the sensor

    so, if anyone else comes across this at some point: a puff of compressed air might be enough (blowing into it not recommended)

      I do wonder how many good controllers get thrown away over drift from stuff like this.
