Windows 11's modernization broke a 26-year-old scroll trick that even Electron apps still have, and a Microsoft veteran only just learned it

Shift-clicking a scrollbar has jumped to that spot since Windows 2000. Raymond Chen just learned it, and WinUI still does not support it.

    Windows 11 broke windows 11

To this day I still can’t get icon desktops to stay in their place. Each time I make a new folder it move all my icons.

That’s what happens when you hire a bunch of recently graduated graphic designers and give them 6 months to come up with a new interface. While also not consulting any power users or even developers who had previously worked on the interface. Rumor has it that these people didn’t even know the taskbar could move when they were first programming it so it would shock me if they knew about the scroll bar jumping.
