Care to elaborate? (Or point to where one can learn more about this?)
I’ve never really followed X (nor Twitter), Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, etc. so I basically live under a rock. Sometimes I ask dumb questions to try to understand people a little better. Apologies if my questions inadvertently offend anyone. I mean no harm.

If I had to guess: the culture here seems unusual, and unwelcoming — sometimes even hostile — to diverse opinions (i.e. people who aren’t similarly unusual).
I haven’t met many people IRL who would fit in here. For some visitors, that’s okay (I don’t fit in here, myself), but I think most people would just move along and forget that Lemmy exists.
Being federated, Lemmy is technically capable of being more diverse. It’s a bit ironic that it still ended up being like this.
Also, some images don’t load. I just ignore those, but still people might be put off by broken UX
It’s always interesting to see how much people trust sending such personal information to some service on the Internet, expecting privacy.
I’m not sure I’d even want my own self-hosted LLMs to have something like a personal diary. Sending all that to an AI company would never even cross my mind.
I understand that most people aren’t the tech-oriented types who get into self-hosting and running their own LLMs, but people have had diaries for centuries before LLMs existed.
