Me neither, just explaining what I said for everyone to understand, hoping it helps someone.

Right, the more you plan ahead, the more efficient you become. First, I look at where chargers are located, then I choose restaurants, grocery stores, shopping malls, hotels, based on those locations. Even sports complexes and community centres. But if you charge at home daily and stay in the same city, you don’t even need public charging at all. Highway level 3 stations are those that really matter.

MAGA has made it quite clear they do not welcome non-MAGA people.

Like EV charging, washers and dryers run on 240V. My approximate energy use for a laundry load (washing + drying): 3 kWh. My own EV driving uses about 5 kWh per day. That’s how I got the number. Same order of magnitude is my point. At least in my case. Changing the laundry size and driving habits could actually make those numbers (3 and 5 kWh) close to equal.

The calculation is too difficult?

A source that a car and a washing machine both use 240V? Sure you could.

Sounds like they’re just trying to create enemies to unleash against for no good reason.

For the cost of running a washing machine.

I’m always amused by the number of gas car drivers commenting on EV discussions.

Gas stations can also raise the price of gas. You are realizing that both are the same. The differentiator is the possibility of charging at home without ever going to a dedicated station.
That isn’t an issue with the car but with the station network. Gvmnts need to support more EV stations rather than more fossil infrastructure.
