I have a cheap Mazda 6e with the small battery. It has on a bad day 390 km range if I run heater, in sport.
For daily use I can hold over a week with that.
But I have a home charger so battery is always full each morning. I only ever need to charge in a station on road trips. At least in Norway which is a mature EV market most have home charger. Only those with street parking (not that common in Norway outside perhaps three large cities) don’t have home chargers.
