    You can charge at gas stations, but why would you? Around here, there are cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets with fast chargers.

      And why would a Walmart be any better? Around here, no charging stations have a restaurant neaby. I just looked up all the charging stations near me and none of them have stores I would want to stop at on a road trip

        The point is that when every place you travel has a charging station you no longer need to ever stop for gas or to charge. Every stop just includes the charge. We can never do that with gasoline.

          Unless every restaurant in town has several stalls of 75kW DC fast charging, a 30min stop during meal break won’t be enough to get you to the next destination.
