Yeah like that’s all well and good while people use AI to functionally decompile and replicate specific existing pre-ai software. The problem is if you do that, eventually no one will make the software for you to clone.

Giving an AI a decompiled app or codebase and telling it to change xyz on it is something AI can do pretty competently because it’s just working with a framework human developers built for purpose.
