This brings back memories. Had a two week old mad catz controller (yes, I’m old enough to remember PlayStation without duel analog) and the original ape escape came out. So, as any normal teenager would at the time, rent the game from blockbuster had had my fun with it. Long story short, I could not finish the game because the duel analog sticks broke right at the last stage where you had to row a boat using both. I could only swim in circles. Early lesson in: “don’t buy 3rd party”.

I thought the lesson was supposed to be “third party controllers are for younger siblings so they can never beat you”.
