    I’m thinking about getting into cyber security, or maybe get an MFT and be a shrink. Idk. Job market kinda sucks

        I work at a top 50 credit union in the USA, total opposite around here. We just added multiple CyberSec analysts and Cyber fraud analysts in the last 12 months and we are still looking for more.

        Everybody I know at other community banks and credit unions is doing the same, infosec is booming.

          barrier to entry? high or low, i assume you need quite a few years of experience. i can direct it to a person i know that is unmotivated.(he says he wants to be in it, but never made the move to get into it)

          seems it goes by, company cuts down their IT/SECURITY department, gets suprise pikachu face when they get leaked or hacked, and then they pay alot to fix it. rinse and repeat.
