I saw a video on spawnwave that talked today about what games people are enjoying in 2026 right now. And the different reactions of different social media/sites.

I personally am loving Wild Blue Skie s. Its just starfox. Thats what I want to play!

BALL x PIT is a whole lot of fun. I didn’t think it would be but it keeps getting better and better.

I also liked FTL back in the day so I picked up Void War . Its like warhammer + FTL and its fantastic.

EDIT: You all are great! Keep them coming! So many games (video games and otherwise) in this list!

If you didn’t play Pokemon as a kid, you shouldn’t waste your time. They’re games for babies. You’re only going to like it as an adult if you’ve got nostalgia.

There are way better monster collecting/training games that aren’t made for kids in kindergarten if that’s what you’re looking for. The Shin Megami Tensei series has some amazing monster design.
