I saw a video on spawnwave that talked today about what games people are enjoying in 2026 right now. And the different reactions of different social media/sites.
I personally am loving Wild Blue Skie s. Its just starfox. Thats what I want to play!
BALL x PIT is a whole lot of fun. I didn’t think it would be but it keeps getting better and better.
I also liked FTL back in the day so I picked up Void War . Its like warhammer + FTL and its fantastic.

I was reminded that I have a copy of Control (2019) that I hadn’t touched, so a couple of weeks ago I started playing it. I was really enjoying it for a few hours, but it started to feel a bit repetitive and I haven’t been able to get back to it for a few days.
It starts slow but gets more fun as you get more abilities. By the time you get them all and you feel like a god, flying around the room, and using telekinesis to throw debris at enemies, it gets pretty fun. The setting is great too imo
