Yup. I’ve had an EV for 6 years (in Texas of all places) and have only used a public charger a handful of times, and mostly because of the novelty to see what DC charging is like. I’ve only needed it one time on a long distance trip. So 6 years, 1 DC fast charge.

Could have sworn I saw some articles saying it’d get better in 2027. Let’s see how long it lasts before we see “it’ll be bad through 2028”. This is going to become the new “Due to higher than normal call volumes…”

That’s the issue. We don’t need nanny’s to age gate us on the internet. All it does is create a very short path to removing anonymity on the internet
